“If everything is simple, there is no reason for it to get complicated.”
Fuego isn’t your real name
Fuego comes from the street. In each crew, we have nicknames. I’ve been doing graffiti since 1988. Graffiti is even more personal than cycling.
In 2012, Fuego created the first bike courier service, in the urban center. Rather visionary as an approach. Fuego is about vision and ethics, says Antoine, a loyal customer since 2013. At be-poles, we have always used bicycle couriers.
We had a silkscreen workshop with friends in Bagnolet. The 115. Between 2004 and 2006, everyone was there. Started by Alex (PSY), everyone had his universe. Benj (tattoo artist) had a caravan, Axel and Max were bike-frame welders. And TOAM, JonOne, and RCF were all real artists, true graffiti.
I met Antoine at that time, at 115. He had come to oversee the execution of a silkscreen for Nadège Winter. I have always been interested in printing techniques, and passionate about screen printing. All the steps of the graphic chain fascinate me. In fact, originally, I wanted to become a lettering painter. Already, Antoine and I had something in common: it’s a love of design and graphics.

I know a second point in common…
Yes, a love of cycling! Antoine and I crossed Tuscany together by bike. I have always cycled. I was bad at skateboarding. And everywhere I go, I ride a bike. It’s addictive.
